Professor Lalit Kumar Das pioneered Industrial Design education at IIT Delhi. He has developed a programme that blends design sensitivities and industrial propensities. He has extensively researched the process of creativity and its manifestation as innovation, and has also designed educational and research equipment. Professor Das has a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art, London.
