Eco-friendly blister packaging – Danish company Ramac analysed their packaging machine with Solidworks’ Sustainability Xpress software to find material choices and manufacturing methods that decreased the machine’s environmental impact throughout its life cycle. Link

A CAD class at Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering, students used the software to design “twist carts,” simple human-powered contraptions that they then raced down the hallways in competition. Link
