3DVIA Composer Tips: Updating your installation manual automatically

An increasing number of SolidWorks customers use 3DVIA Composer to create pictures, animation video from 3D CAD data and incorporate them into Installation Manual. Updating these pictures can be performed with 3DVIA Composer if there are any changes in 3D CAD and therefore updating the Installation Manual automatically.
How can you do it nicely ?
- While creating the Installation Manual with Microsoft Word 2007 for example, select the Insert Tab, then Picture. It will open an Insert Picture browser, select the pictures created by 3DVIA Composer, then move down to the Insert button, select the arrow and Link to File.
- When the 3D CAD models change, re-generate the pictures in 3DVIA Composer and save the files with same name at the same location. Your Installation Manual will be update automatically.
